Lufthansa is a national air carrier of Germany and the largest carrier in Europe in terms of the number of aircrafts and carried passengers. The airline operates flights to more than 78 countries and has over 220 international and domestic flight destinations. The fleet, including subsidiary carriers, consists of about 710 aircrafts for short-haul and intercontinental flights. Besides, Lufthansa is a co-founder of Star Alliance, the oldest and the largest airline alliance in the world, which served more than 110 million passengers in 2016.At the beginning of 2024, the company introduced a new Lufthansa Allegris product - a selection of seats with increased comfort level for different flight classes: economy class, premium economy class, and business class. In May 2024, the first flights with Lufthansa Allegris were launched on separate flights between Munich and Vancouver, and between Munich and Toronto. Additional routes will feature the new planes by the end of the summer of 2024. By the way, the airline offers some new drinks and dishes on the menu. FlightRadar24 has been added to the Lufthansa application, providing the ability to track flights in real time.
